BACKGROUND:

Mr. Camargo has over 26 years as a seasoned executive in the automotive field, performed in global auto parts industry and later on at OEM’s, heading up senior executive roles in business units centered at Sales, Marketing & Planning.  In addition, he has 7 years of M&A experience.  He has overseen P&L operations for commercial business units, ensuring its target accomplishment and accountability, setting plans & strategy, and deployment of entire commercial processes procedures.

He has conducted vehicle’s distribution network through wholesale and retail sales, used vehicle sales, business solutions which encompass fleet management systems amid repair & maintenance contracts. He has wide expertise in B2B dealings; managing relationship with large customers with a proven track record of success operating in the entire commercial field, performing multi functional leadership roles.

He developed an expertise to build credible relationships among customers, management teams and stakeholders forming high-performance work teams.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Camargo has worked at global OEM’s and Tier 1’s like Ford Ind. Com (Ford Motor Company regional holding in Brazil which embraces all divisional operations), McQuay/Modine, Denso and Delphi, and European truck & bus maker Scania. He has in-depth and extensive experience in new business development, management & administration encompassing sales, marketing and product planning, vehicle distribution networks throughout dealerships amid after-sales & service activities. In addition, Mr. Camargo has acquired a vast ability to manage business opportunities in M&A processes focused on cross-border transactions.

ASSOCIATIONS:

Mr. Camargo is a Director for the Chamber of Manufacturers for Air Conditioners for Vehicles in ABINEE (Brazilian Electro-Electronic Industry Association), and belongs to FIESP – Industry Federation of São Paulo.

EDUCATION:

Mr. Camargo has a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering – Production – from São Paulo State University UNESP, beyond extensive course in Cross Cultural Management held at The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship – AOTS in Tokyo – Japan.
